Who Are We?
Founded in 2021 in Dresden, Germany by Moritz Behrendt, Blockava was built to simplify digital payments for freelancers, remote workers, and globally connected businesses. Frustrated by traditional banking delays and high fees, Moritz set out to create a platform where international transactions are fast, transparent, and effortless.
Today, Blockava is a small, dedicated team of 25 people working remotely across the globe. From Germany to the U.S. and beyond, we’re building tools that make it easier to send, receive, and manage payments — wherever you are.
