Software Developer (Remote – Full-Time)

We’re looking for a motivated and talented Software Developer to join our growing team at Blockava. You’ll play a key role in building the next generation of smart financial tools for freelancers, creators, and independent professionals. This is a remote role with flexible hours and opportunities to influence product direction.

🔧 What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable features for our web platform using modern technologies
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to implement clean and intuitive user experiences
  • Write reusable, well-documented code using React, Node.js, and modern JavaScript best practices
  • Integrate third-party APIs and ensure seamless communication between the frontend and backend
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making on architecture, tools, and performance optimization
  • Continuously test, debug, and improve features across browsers and devices
  • Keep up with emerging technologies and share knowledge with the team

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in modern web development
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with hands-on experience in React and Node.js
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and state management (e.g. Redux, Zustand)
  • Experience with Git version control and collaborative workflows (e.g. GitHub, pull requests)
  • A good eye for design and UX — you care how things feel, not just how they work
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup and communicate clearly across teams

⭐️ Nice to Have

  • Experience working with payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
  • Familiarity with authentication systems (OAuth, JWT) and security practices
  • Exposure to Web3, blockchain, or decentralized finance (DeFi)
  • Previous experience at a startup or in a fast-paced tech environment
  • Basic understanding of TypeScript, PostgreSQL, or AWS
